Welcome to the Friendship Association "Freundeskreis Freiburg-Isfahan e.V."
The Friendship Association "Freundeskreis Freiburg-Isfahan e.V" was founded in 2001, one year after the signing of the contract establishing the Twin Town relationship between Isfahan and Freiburg. The association now includes more than 100 German as well as Iranian members. The Friendship Association is registered as a non-profit association. All donations are therefore tax-deductible.
The Friendship Association "Freiburg-Isfahan e.V." is open to all people who want to support cultural exchange between the twin cities of Freiburg and Isfahan.
The special aim of the Association is to provide contacts and exchange between the citizens of both cities in order to promote understanding of one another´s cultures, traditions and lifestyles and to foster mutual tolerance and international understanding.
Everyone who would like to take an active part in the Friendship Association and/or would like to learn about the town twinning project between Isfahan and Freiburg is warmly welcome. We would be pleased to receive your helpful suggestions, feedback and comments at
